In simple terms, Cajun Rods®’ warranty is: “If it’s our fault, we fix it, no charge.” Heck, even if its your fault … we go the extra mile to assist you!
At Cajun Rods®, we believe in our products and prior to shipping your rod, each Cajun Rods® enjoys a rigorous 26 point Quality Control and Assurance regime to ensure that each rod is perfect. If for some reason you receive your rod and are not 100% satisfied, immediately contact us and we’ll ensure that your concerns are addressed.
Due to unauthorized resale of our products by non-authorized resellers, and their violation of our Federally protected US Patent and Trademarks, “Proof of Purchase” and “Receipt” is required for any and all Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. and Cajun Rods® product service and warranty, no exceptions.
If your purchase was made direct from Cajun Rods® (via our website or from Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. at an event/tradeshow), or from an authorized Cajun Rods® dealer (all are listed on our Dealer webpage), then your rod is protected via our Warranty/Non-Warranty Program as we have valid proof of purchase and receipt of your excellent decision to fish our world-class, USA manufactured fishing rods. We will continue to provide exemplary service and warranty replacement per our Warranty Agreement and dedication to our consumers, our authorized dealers, and their American law-abiding families and customers.
Warranty does not cover any damage to your received fishing rod from fire, intentional breakage, accidental breakage, loss overboard, high-sticking, boat-flipping, abuse, neglect, normal wear and use, any misuse, natural disaster, repair, or modification to the original product.
Damage caused by abuse, misuse, and normal wear are not covered. Not covered is any damage to your received fishing rod from unintentional high-sticking your rod, accidents, loss, fire, intentional breakage, gunneling your rod, abuse, misuse, neglect, natural disaster, repair, or modification to the original product.
“High-Sticking” is when an angler raises the fishing rod to a vertical position and whether intentionally or unintentionally and places the rod blank/fishing rod into a critical angle which exceeds loading capacity and out of a natural parabolic rod bend in which case the rod blank is forced to failure. This situation can occur intentionally or accidentally and is NOT COVERED BY OUR WARRANTY.
This warranty does not apply to rods broken by airlines, freight carriers, or rods damaged/broken during shipment to/from Cajun Rods®.
*** Using line heavier than a rod is rated for voids our warranty.
*** Using lures heavier than a rod is rated for voids our warranty.
*** Trying to “Hand Load” or “Boat Flip” a rod with anyone voids our warranty.
*** High-Sticking a rod voids our warranty.
Cajun Rods® warrants that its fishing rods and blanks are free from defects in material, craftsmanship, and manufacturing defects of your Cajun Rods® and against non-conformances in workmanship and materials.
If you have a damaged rod, and are convinced the damage is a result of our error, please follow the below steps so we can put you back on the water in your rod as soon as possible:
1. Send your damaged rod to Cajun Rods®. Please include the following information with your shipment:
- Your Full Name
- Your Shipping Address
- Your Phone Number
- An explanation of how your rod became damaged.

***NOTE: If Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. is in receipt of a warranty fishing rod and replacement fees are not received within 30 days of billing, the warranty on that fishing rod will be null and void.
***NOTE: A 3.5% charge shall apply to any warranty processed by credit card (5% for American Express).
2. On receipt, Cajun Rods® will inspect the rod to determine if the damage was due to workmanship or material non-conformance. For damage determined to have occurred due to non-conformance in manufacture, of course Cajun Rods® will at the companies’ discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge. If it’s due to our error, we’ll be sending you a replacement rod as soon as possible and at no cost to you.
Should we decide to replace the damaged product, but no longer offer that model, we will replace it with what we determine to be the closest comparable model from current product lines.
Cajun Custom Rods® reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Cajun Custom Rods® product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models and/or fishing rod component with comparable models or parts as deemed necessary. Colors and rod components may vary between original and replacement parts.
3. However, if we discover evidence indicating that the fishing rod damage is due to an accident, normal wear or neglect, then we’ll provide you a full estimate to repair or replace your rod and receive your approval before any fees are levied.
Warranty rods that are to be repaired are normally shipped within 2 to 3 weeks after Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. receives the rod.
2. We’ll email you an electronic invoice for your “Warranty Expeditor and Rod Replacement.” Once payment is received, we’ll then assign UPS tracking numbers and release your brand new rod to for delivery to you.

*** IN ALL DEEMED ROD REPLACEMENTS, THE RECEIVING PARTY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL SHIPPING COSTS ASSOCIATED IN ADDITION TO WARRANTY REPLACEMENT COST.
In no event shall Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. be held liable for incidental or consequential damages due to breach of this warranty or other warranties implied by law. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts nor do they allow for exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above stipulated limitation and/or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Cajun Custom Rods® and Cajun Rods® clothing and similar accessories that are not fishing rods are covered against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. Sales receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase required.
CAJUN CUSTOM RODS® SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
ALL ORDERS FROM CAJUN CUSTOM RODS® ARE FINAL.
Warranty Service Outside the United States:
Cajun Custom Rods® DOES NOT SELL ITS PRODUCTS OUSIDE THE UNITED STATES, therefore, Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. does not provide ANY warranty service WHATSOEVER outside the United Stats.
Return and Exchange Policy:
When you receive your merchandise, please inspect it carefully on arrival. If any item does not meet with your approval, SIMPLY RETURN IT WITHIN 10 days of receipt. You MUST include a copy of your invoice and a brief explanation of your decision for product return. You MUST use the Cajun Rods® Shipping Tube and all of the shipping protective material that the rod was encased in (pending how you opened your tube, additional packaging material might be required at your expense to ensure the rod is packaged for return properly). If you have questions, on packaging the returned merchandise, please contact Cajun Rods® for assistance.
Return your product to Cajun Custom Rods®, Inc. via UPS or FEDEX Ground shipment. Your package must be prepaid and we suggest fully insured as well. Please indicate with your paper work whether you wish to exchange it for another rod or receive credit and full refund for your purchase.
Shipping charges for any returned product will not be refunded. Your Cajun Rods® must be received in ORIGINAL condition with all original cartons, tags and shipping material. In the event of lost or damaged returned products, Cajun Rods® will immediately notify you. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the customer to coordinate replacement fees and costs for lost or damaged goods with UPS or FEDEX. At no point in the return process is Cajun Rods® responsible for shipping, fees, or damaged/lost replacement costs for the returned merchandise.
In the event that the returned merchandise is , Cajun Rods® will notify you.
Any returned merchandise that is received in any other condition than its ORIGINAL condition, lost, or damaged will be at the sole responsibility of the customer and a refund will not be processed.
Any follow shipment of merchandise to the customer will be the responsibility of the customer and paid in advance prior to shipment release. If a rod is to be exchanged, the customer is responsible for shipping and must be prepaid prior to release of the exchange.
